Eric L. Calvert has rejoined the law firm of Bowles Rice McDavid Graff & Love, LLP, according to Managing Partner, Thomas A. Heywood.  Calvert most recently served as the Senior Manager of Business Development for West Virginia American Water Company and previously, from 2001 to 2006, he was an associate at Bowles Rice.

Calvert has been named a partner and will be working in the Charleston, West Virginia, office as a member of the firm’s Energy Department.  “We are delighted that Eric is returning to Bowles Rice,” Heywood said.  “His outstanding business acumen, experience and talents will be of great value to our clients and he is a terrific asset to our growing Energy team.”

Calvert also is the former Corporate Counsel, Vice President and Secretary of West Virginia American Water Company, Maryland American Water Company and Virginia American Water Company.  He has more than seven years of commercial banking and financial consulting experience.  He earned his law degree from West Virginia University College of Law in 2001 and his undergraduate degree in accounting from West Virginia University in 1990.
