Bowles Rice Announces Three New Partners
January 12, 2009 - Charleston, WV

Three attorneys were recently elected as partners in Bowles Rice McDavid Graff & Love LLP, according to Thomas A. Heywood, the law firm’s Managing Partner.  The new partners are David A. Mohler and Justin M. Harrison in the firm’s Charleston, West Virginia office and Donald M. Wakefield in the firm’s Lexington, Kentucky office.

Mohler, a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group, is an experienced trial lawyer.  He received his law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law and his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Duke University.  He served on the Charleston City Council from 1983 to 1995.

Harrison has extensive litigation and trial experience in defending employment-based claims as a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment practice group.  He received his law degree in 2002 from West Virginia University College of Law.  He earned both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in political science from WVU.

Wakefield is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group and practices before state and federal trial and appellate courts and administrative agencies.  He earned both a law degree and an MBA from the University of Kentucky in 2002 and received his undergraduate degree from Centre College in Kentucky in 1998.
