Bowles Rice has long been a partner with Habitat for Humanity, the nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. The organization's mission statement says it best:
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Recently, several folks from our Charleston office participated in a build for Habitat for Humanity of Kanawha & Putnam Counties. BowlesCares volunteers included attorneys Mark Adkins, Kendra Amick, Lindsay Gainer, Corey Bonasso, and Grayson O’Saile as well as staff members Scott Ball, John Duncan, and Jody Ensminger from the firm's IT Department.
"While there are many worthwhile activities that we can participate in to help our communities, there is truly something special about gathering together as a group to help build a home for a family," said Mark Adkins, Bowles Rice partner and BowlesCares committee member. "Habitat for Humanity gives our neighbors the opportunity to build, purchase, and thrive in their own home. It is Habitat’s dedication to this pursuit that makes them such a great BowlesCares initiative."
