The second episode of WVEduCast – An Education Law Podcast has been posted and is available for listening or for download below. Thanks to everyone who listened to parts one and two of our first episode and to all who have subscribed to the podcast so far.
In episode two, we hear from West Virginia State Senator Patricia Puertas Rucker (R - Jefferson, 16), who serves as Chair of the West Virginia Senate's Committee on Education and Co-Chair of the Interim Committee on Education Accountability. Senator Rucker was first elected in 2017 and is the first Hispanic woman to represent the state's Eastern Panhandle. She worked as a teacher prior to running for office.
