Diana Leigh Jacobs
Diana Jacobs focuses her practice on litigation, with an emphasis on toxic tort litigation, products liability, premises liability, class actions and asbestos litigation. She also has experience defending medical monitoring claims.
Most recently, Diana served as counsel for one of the country’s largest pharmacies/supermarkets in the National Prescription Opiate Litigation pending before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. The National Prescription Opiate Litigation is the major opioid national multidistrict litigation (MDL 2804) presided over by a federal judge in Ohio but affecting nearly every state in the country. Diana managed litigation in Alaska, Utah, and Illinois. She also defended and conducted depositions of key witnesses and experts across the country.
Since 2013, Diana has consistently been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America ® for her Mass Torts Litigation / Class Actions—Defendants practice.
Diana is a 2020 Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity and previously served as the firm's Assistant Diversity Partner. She is a past Chair of the Bowles Rice Wellness Committee, has been a member of the firm's Recruiting Committee, and currently serves as a member of the firm's Executive Committee.
