Jennifer Hagedorn Elected to United Way Board of Directors
Bowles Rice attorney Jennifer B. Hagedorn was recently elected to the board of directors for the United Way of Washington County (Penn.).
Ms. Hagedorn, an attorney in the Bowles Rice office in Southpointe, Pennsylvania, serves as Special Counsel and focuses her practice on health care law, energy law, real estate law and employment law. She joins the United Way board in execution of its mission "to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities."
Every year, United Way donations fund services that help real people with real needs, according to the organization's website. United Way of Washington County funds 45 programs at 29 local agencies, working to improve education, financial stability and health in Washington County.
Ms. Hagedorn is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia.
She received her law degree in 2001 from the West Virginia University College of Law, where she was a member of the Marilyn Lugar Trial Court Travel Team. She earned her bachelor's degree in English from West Virginia University in 1997.
