Bowles Rice Announces Executive Committee Elections
Bowles Rice LLP is pleased to announce attorney Marc A. Monteleone was recently elected to the regional law firm's Executive Committee, and Charles F. Printz, Jr. was re-elected to another four-year term.
Mr. Monteleone, a partner in the firm's Charleston, West Virginia office, serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Bowles Rice and manages the firm's real estate needs, including the construction of new facilities. His practice includes federal and state taxation, oil and gas law, construction law, commercial law and real estate development. Mr. Monteleone also serves as the chairman of the firm's Small Business Development Team, which assists small businesses in all matters, from formation through dissolution.
He authored the legislation that authorizes the use of Design-Build services in West Virginia. Because of his experience and knowledge in the design-build process, Mr. Monteleone was originally appointed by former West Virginia Governor Cecil Underwood, and has since been appointed by every succeeding governor, to chair the West Virginia Design-Build Review Board. He continues to serve in that capacity today.
In 2013, editors of the annual publication The Best Lawyers in America® named Mr. Monteleone Lawyer of the Year in the area of Construction Law for the southern West Virginia region. He has also been recognized by Chambers USA: America's Leading Business Lawyers for his experience in Corporate/Commercial Law - Tax.
Mr. Printz, a partner in the firm's Martinsburg, West Virginia office, was elected to his third term on the Executive Committee.
He practices in all aspects of civil litigation, including business and commercial disputes, employer liability, employment law, financial services litigation, condemnation and construction litigation.
In 2014, he was elected president of the 500-member Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia, an organization dedicated to the defense of individuals and corporations in civil litigation.
Mr. Printz was named Best Lawyers' Lawyer of the Year in the northern West Virginia region for Bet-the-Company Litigation (2013) and Construction Litigation (2014). He also has been recognized by Chambers USA for his work in Commercial Litigation.
