Mike Caryl Discusses West Virginia Tax  Reform

An article by Bowles Rice attorney Michael E. Caryl has been published in the September 2015 issue of The West Virginia CPA magazine.  The article, “West Virginia Tax Reform Revisited” discusses the work of the Joint Select Committee on Tax Reform.  The Committee was appointed as a result of Senate Current Resolution No. 31, adopted by the West Virginia Legislature in its 2015 regular session.

Mr. Caryl is a senior partner in the Martinsburg, West Virginia office of Bowles Rice.  He served as West Virginia State Tax Commissioner (1985-1988) and as Vice-Chairman of the Governor’s Fair Taxation Commission (1997-1999).
