Bowles Rice Adds Three Attorneys
Three attorneys have joined Bowles Rice LLP, according to Thomas A. Heywood, the regional law firm’s Managing Partner. The new associates are Kaitlyn N. McKitrick, Drew A. Proudfoot and Andrew C. Robey.
Kaitlyn McKitrick has joined the Bowles Rice office in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She is a 2015 graduate of the West Virginia College of Law, where she served as vice president of the Environmental Law Society and participated in the United States Supreme Court Clinic. She received her undergraduate degree in political science, summa cum laude, from West Virginia University in 2012. A National Merit Scholar, Kaitlyn was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, considered to be the nation’s most prestigious honor society. She is a native of Wheeling, West Virginia.
Drew Proudfoot has joined the firm’s Morgantown, West Virginia office, where he will practice in corporate, commercial and real estate law. He earned his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2015, where he served as Articles Editor for the Alabama Law Review. A native of Oakland, Maryland, he received his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, in psychology from West Virginia University and served as President of WVU chapter of the national honor society, Alpha Lambda Delta.
Andrew Robey is working in the firm’s Charleston, West Virginia office, where he is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. He received his law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2015, and received Baker Cup Awards for Best Oralist and Best Brief. He was a member of the National Moot Court Team and chair of the Advanced Appellate Advocacy Committee. Andrew earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from West Virginia University in 2012 and is pursuing CPA certification. He is a native of Charleston, West Virginia.
The three new associates participated in the Bowles Rice Summer Clerkship Program in 2014.
