Charles Love Named Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America's Trial Lawyer Honorary Society
Bowles Rice attorney Charles M. Love, III recently accepted an invitation as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America’s Trial Lawyer Honorary Society – an honor afforded to less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers.
Mr. Love, a partner in the regional law firm’s Charleston office, concentrates his defense practice in class actions, mass toxic torts, insurance, products liability and commercial litigation.
Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are selected based upon effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation.
Mr. Love has served as president of both the West Virginia State Bar and The West Virginia Bar Association, is a Fellow of the American Bar Association, a Fellow of the West Virginia Bar Foundation and is a permanent member of the Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference.
He is recognized by Best Lawyers in America in the areas of Bet-the-Company Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Litigation - Environmental and Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions - Defendants. In 2013, he was named Best Lawyers’ Lawyer of the Year in the area of Bet-the-Company Litigation for the southern region of West Virginia. He also is recognized in the 2013 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business and holds an AV peer-review ranking from Martindale Hubbell.
