Ashlyn Ramsay is an associate attorney in the Morgantown, West Virginia office of Bowles Rice, where she is a member of the firm’s well-established Energy Team.

Ashlyn gained experience as a student clinician for the Land Use and Sustainable Development Clinic at the West Virginia University College of Law, where she advised local government clients on legal matters relating to comprehensive plans, zoning ordinances, and other land issues; researched pressing land use issues facing West Virginia, including telecommunications infrastructure development; and conducted title searches to assist clients with their property transactions.

Furthermore, Ashlyn’s experience includes the preparation and drafting of wills, powers of attorney, and trust documents; assisting with several probate estates; and conducting real estate transactions, including title searches.

Ashlyn earned her law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law, where she served as the Treasurer of the Women’s Leadership Council, a member of the Federal Bar Association Student Chapter and a member of the Veterans and Military Advocacy Group. Ashlyn earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science, magna cum laude, from West Virginia University.
