Kathryn B. Stewart

Katie is a member of the Real Estate team in the Martinsburg, West Virginia office. She is licensed to practice in West Virginia and Maryland.

In her real estate practice, Katie has experience in managing and conducting residential real property closings; drafting and reviewing Deeds, Commitments, Trusts, and Deeds of Trust; and has completed additional work in commercial closings. Katie also has experience in preparing Wills, Durable POAs, Living Wills, and other estate planning documents for clients.

Additionally, Katie has experience representing clients in litigation matters, including preparing necessary legal documents, such as briefs, motions, pleadings, and correspondence; researching relevant specific federal, state, and local laws and regulations; and handling negotiations and communications on behalf of clients.

During law school at West Virginia University College of Law, Katie served in many student organizations, including the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association; Environmental Law Society; and the Energy Law Association. She earned her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and History as well as her graduate degree in History at Marshall University.
